About

Tammy started life in Zimbabwe (daughter of a Greek), studied in South Africa, left (as an economic refugee) to London, moved to Cambodia and then ended up in the US.

She is often described as pig headed, determined, funny and sometimes cute. She is a philanthropist at heart, and been involved in campaigns her whole life.

Tammy works in communications. Her experience ranges from corporations to banking to NGO and International Organizations.

Her passion for fair trade comes from her friends in Zimbabwe and Cambodia, who plow their energy and talents into making traditional products. Tammy believes in the movement to ensure these vendors get a fair price, and gets excited at its constant growth and increasing success.

Tammy gets shy writing ‘about me’ pages , so invites you to ask a question or leave a comment if you want to know anything more!

  1. Love the site and the concept. I have some posts you might be interested, where I give people economically, environmentally and socially fair alternatives for small choices in their everyday purchasing life.

Maybe we could swap story ideas or links? Check it out and see what you think.
